PERFORMANCES
Over the years Dancestreams, has performed and will
continue to perform, for audiences in schools and for the general public in a
multitude of Vancouver Island communities - Campbell River, Courtenay, Port
Alberni, Ucluelet, Tofino, Parksville, Nanaimo, and Victoria.
Because Dancestreams offers
advanced levels of training, it can also offer high quality performances,
Providing an important educational and cultural service. Delivered with style
and broad appeal these performances are an enriching human experience. Audiences
are characteristically impressed by the Company's energy and professional level
of performance.
School Performances on
Vancouver Island
School shows have also been very
well received. High school and elementary age students are often inspired by
seeing their peers in a highly motivated and skilled performance geared to
expand their knowledge and appreciation of Dance and the Arts.
Vancouver Island Spring Tours
In recent years, Dancestreams
annually conducts a four or five week Spring Tour of performances throughout
central and south Vancouver Island. These performances feature a full evening
program of the Company's most popular and exhilarating dance works.
BC City Tours
Dancestreams has performed for
similar audiences in other communities throughout B.C. Saltspring and Hornby
Islands, Powell River, Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley, Prince George.
International
Tours
Dancestreams has also had many
outstanding and memorable experiences on international tours:
China
(1994), Los Angeles (1998, 2001), Germany and Belgium (2003, 2008).
